How to play
The game lasts five rounds. Each round uses one of 72 originally worded, source-linked questions across eight categories, with an editorially checked answer and explanation.
Everyone has 45 seconds to submit one private answer of up to 80 characters. A confirmed answer cannot be changed, and neither other players nor spectators can see it.
If your first entry matches the truth or a listed alias, the server accepts it without giving a clue. Identical bluffs are also accepted privately, but the whole matching group is removed from the ballot so network speed never decides the outcome.
The ballot contains the verified truth, every unique player bluff, and editorial decoys until there are at least five cards. Everyone sees the same order, while opaque identifiers reveal neither the truth nor the authors.
A player who knew the truth earns 1,000 points at reveal and does not vote that round. Everyone else has 35 seconds; you cannot choose your own unique bluff, while a player who skipped writing may still vote.
A correct vote earns 1,000 points. The author of a unique bluff earns 500 for every player it fools; duplicate bluffs, editorial decoys, missed actions, and wrong votes score 0.
Reveal shows the truth, explanation, source, authors, voters, duplicates, missed actions, and every score change. It remains open for up to 24 seconds, and the host may continue after 7.
After round five, the highest total wins and tied leaders share the victory. Server-held timers and accepted actions survive refreshes without restarting a stage or awarding an answer, vote, or score twice.
