How to play
Exactly two players take part. The goal is to occupy three cells in one uninterrupted line on the 3×3 board before the opponent does.
Before play, the app randomizes the order: the first player receives X and the second receives O. X always makes the opening move, and marks stay assigned for the whole game.
On a turn, the active player chooses exactly one empty cell. An accepted mark is locked immediately: it cannot be moved, removed, replaced, or placed again in the same cell.
After every accepted move, play passes to the opponent. A winning line may be any of the three rows, three columns, or two diagonals and ends the game immediately.
If all nine cells are occupied after a move and neither player has a line of three, the game is a draw. A line completed on move nine is checked first and therefore still wins.
Each turn has a two-minute limit. When time expires, the app automatically passes the turn to the next player.
Either player may resign at any time; the opponent wins and earns 500 points.
The winner earns 500 points. A draw awards 0 points to each player; there is no separate reward for move count, the center, corners, or incomplete pairs.
