How to play
The game randomly assigns Black and White; Black starts on an empty 9×9 intersection grid and White receives 7.5 komi.
Place one stone on an empty intersection. An orthogonally connected group with no adjacent empty intersection is removed; diagonal stones are not connected.
Suicide is illegal unless the move captures an opposing group. A move may not recreate any board position seen earlier in the game: positional superko applies.
You may pass instead of placing. Play out and capture disputed dead groups before ending: two consecutive passes end the game immediately.
Area scoring gives one point for every living stone and every empty intersection bordered by only one color; neutral regions score nothing, then White adds komi.
Each turn has a two-minute limit. If it expires, the active player loses the game on time.
Either player may resign at any time; the opponent wins and earns 500 points.
The higher score earns 500 points; half-point komi prevents a draw.
Now bring the group together.
