How to play

   The performer role rotates. With two players everyone performs three times; with 3–5, twice; with 6–12, once.

   At the start of each round, the app selects one of 108 one-word targets written for natural English articulation. Only the performer sees the word; everyone else sees its category.

   Play in the same place or keep an external video call open. play2gether.fun does not request access to your camera or microphone or record audio or video.

4. 4

   The performer mutes their microphone and mouths only the target word. No speech, sounds, gestures, writing, letters, or screen sharing are allowed.

5. 5

   A round lasts 55 seconds. Each guesser may submit up to 10 different guesses of no more than 40 characters; valid guesses immediately join the shared chronological feed.

6. 6

   The performer manually confirms the earliest correct or equivalent guess, and that choice cannot be changed. An unsuitable target may be passed through a confirmation step.

7. 7

   A confirmed guess awards 100 points to both the performer and its author. A timeout or pass awards 0 points.

8. 8

   The result remains open for up to 20 seconds; after 5 seconds the host may move on early. After the final round, the highest total wins and tied leaders share the victory.
