How to play
The app appoints exactly two writers each round. They receive the same original setup, while everyone else becomes the audience and votes.
With 3–5 players, the game lasts twice the player count and everyone writes four times. With 6–12, it lasts the player count and everyone writes twice, for 6–12 rounds in total.
Each writer has 55 seconds to privately submit one complete ending of up to 160 characters. It cannot be edited after submission, and a missed entry stays missed.
The ending must naturally complete the setup, be the writer’s own, and stay comfortable for the group: no bullying, personal attacks, or attempts to identify a writer.
When both writers submit or time expires, accepted endings appear anonymously in random order. The writers do not vote; everyone else gets 30 seconds and one final vote.
With two submitted endings, if the audience casts at least one vote, the ending with more votes earns its writer 300 points. A tie with at least one vote for each ending gives both writers 150.
If only one writer submits an ending, that writer earns 150 without a duel. If both miss the deadline, or nobody votes when both endings exist, nobody scores.
The reveal shows the writers, votes, and points. After the full rotation, the highest total wins; tied leaders share the win.
