How to play
The game randomly assigns sides and places 12 pieces per side on the dark squares of the first three ranks; White starts.
A man moves one empty diagonal step forward but captures forward or backward. A king travels any distance along an open diagonal.
A capture is compulsory. Jump one opposing piece to an empty square beyond it; a king may land on any empty square beyond the captured piece.
The same piece must continue while another capture is available. A man reaching the last rank during a sequence becomes a king immediately and continues as one; no maximum-capture rule applies.
You win when the opponent has no pieces or no legal move. The app declares a technical draw after 80 half-moves without a capture or promotion.
Each turn has a two-minute limit. If it expires, the active player loses the game on time.
Either player may resign at any time; the opponent wins and earns 500 points.
The winner earns 500 points; a draw awards no points.
