How to play
Alphabet Story is for 3–12 players. The group writes one shared story while moving through the complete playable alphabet of the selected language in order.
Before play, the server randomizes and locks the player order and selects one of 60 original neutral premises. Everyone can see it, it has no author, and it does not consume a letter.
The first line begins with A, then the game reveals each next letter: 30 letters in Russian, 26 in English, or 27 in Spanish. Russian omits Ъ, Ы, and Ь but keeps Ё separate; Spanish keeps Ñ separate.
On your turn, continue the shared plot with one line. Its first alphabetic character must match the current letter; digits, quotation marks, dashes, brackets, or emoji may appear before it.
After NFKC normalization and whitespace collapse, a line must contain 3–200 characters and at least one letter. Control, invisible, private-use, and formatting characters are rejected; ordinary punctuation and valid emoji are allowed.
An accepted line immediately appears in the shared story with its letter and author, cannot later be edited, and consumes that letter. The turn then passes to the next player in the locked order.
Each letter lasts 75 seconds, and the active player may skip sooner. A skip or timeout is shown in the shared alphabet, consumes that letter, and passes the turn. Anyone joining after the start observes until the next match.
The match ends after the final letter is consumed, even if some letters were skipped. The result is the shared premise, every accepted line, and the skipped-letter record; there is no winner, personal ranking, or point award, and room scores do not change.
