How to play
What Is in Your Hands? is for 3–12 players. With 3–5 participants everyone performs exactly twice; with 6–12 everyone performs once, and no role repeats before a full circuit.
Each round uses a fresh original everyday object from 72 cards in eight balanced categories. Before reveal everyone sees only the broad category, Performer, and public stage.
Only the Performer receives the exact object label and exactly three physical cues: size or grip, weight or balance, and a typical action. Before reveal, guessers and observers receive no accepted aliases, hidden identifier, or future card.
Preparation lasts 20 seconds. The Performer reads silently, may start after 3 seconds, and expiry starts the performance automatically.
Exactly 60 seconds are allotted for the performance; only the first exact guess, a pass, or a foul ends it sooner. The Performer handles the invisible object through movement, showing size, grip, weight, and use without making sounds or speaking, writing letters or digits, or exposing the answer screen.
A real object, one of its parts, or an obvious substitute may not be used as a prop. Only the Performer’s movements, posture, and expression are allowed; furniture and surroundings must not become a ready-made answer clue.
Each guesser may send up to 10 private guesses of at most 60 characters. Only the author sees their text before reveal; equal guesses from different players are allowed, while repeating one of your accepted versions does not spend another attempt.
Answers are matched automatically against the canonical label and 2–4 safe aliases. Case is ignored; Russian Е/Ё compare equally, Spanish vowel accents fold, but Ñ stays distinct from N. The Performer never approves guesses manually.
The first exact guess received by the server before expiry ends the round immediately. Concurrent requests are ordered by earliest server receipt; an exact retry is idempotent and can never award points twice.
The winning guesser receives 200 points and the Performer receives 100. Everyone else receives 0; scores belong only to this match and never carry from or into another game.
Only the Performer may pass or call a foul after saying, writing, or displaying the answer, using a real prop, or giving another direct clue. A pass, foul, or 60-second expiry without an exact answer gives everyone 0.
The 18-second reveal shows the object, accepted aliases, three cues, personal guess chronology, and award; after 6 seconds the host may open the next round. Play in the same place or use an external video call: play2gether.fun does not request camera or microphone access and does not record the performance.
After 6–12 rounds, the highest score earned in this match wins. Equal highest totals produce a shared victory without a random tie-break; anyone joining after start remains an observer without a secret or answer form.
